AITA's President's Message
Dear Member:
Having been in various aspects of the repair parts business for most of my life,
I observed several areas that I felt could be improved. For instance:
While there is absolute justification for volume pricing, I have seen the small
independent operator struggle because he did not produce enough volume to qualify
for discounts.
No matter how large a company is, if they get outside of their home market, they
loose their volume advantage and have to pay a higher than normal price for goods
and services.
In order to correct these situations, we formed America's Independent Truckers'
Association, Inc. and our mission is two fold.
1. AITA will bring the buyers together, as members, and afford them the prices
and privileges of an association without endangering existing relationships;
2. AITA has gone into the market place and brought a group of suppliers together
that have a common goal… they want our business!
AITA has developed a program unlike any other in the industry and we offer this
program to our members at a very reasonable price.
While we are not doing it for fun, we will live on the margin and rebates. Our
premise is this:
We will work to get your prices reduced, while
we bring more business to our vendors
And some vendors offer AITA a rebate for member purchases.
It is a winning situation for all concerned. Simply put, you save money, they
get business that they ordinarily would not have gotten and we get the rebates,
many of which we will pass along to or share with the qualifying members.
All we ask is that you buy through AITA. With the multitude of discounts
we have available to our members, surely there is at least one that will save
you some money. Check those prices! If they aren't less through AITA, then don't
buy it through AITA. However, the more products bought through AITA accounts,
the more bargaining power we have for you.
We are constantly looking for more products and/or services that can be offered
to our members. If you have any suggestions, please feel free to make a suggestion
in our FEEDBACK section. We can truly say that "we are here to serve you".
The key is this, if you use AITA preferred vendors, you will realize REAL savings
that will exceed your cost in belonging.
