1. Why can you never assume you will clear the heights posted at overpasses?
A Snow may have increased the clearances since the heights were posted.
B The weight of cargo can change height with an empty van being lower.
C Some roads can cause your vehicle to tilt.

2. You wish to turn right and you must swing wide. You?
A Start turning wide before you enter the turn.
B You may allow your rear wheels to climb over the curb.
C Turn wide as you complete the turn.

3. If you are turning left, which lane should you use of two left turn lanes?
A Use either lane.
B Use the right hand lane.
C Use the left hand lane.

4. At night where can you look to avoid the glare of oncoming traffic?
A Close your eyes momentarily.
B Look at the centerline of the highway and watch for the dotted line.
C Try to look at the right side of the road and watch the sidelines.

5. What are some items to check especially before driving in winter weather?
A CB radio antenna.
B Coolant level and windshield washer and antifreeze.
C AM-FM radio.

6. How often should you check your tires when driving in very hot weather?
A Every 2 hours or every 100 miles.
B Every time you stop.
C Once each hour.

7. How do you lessen chances of having to make sudden moves to avoid hazards?
